Quack Player is a free multimedia player that can play a wide range of file types without installing any codecs because of its internal codec library. Supported formats include DAT, MPEG, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF, AVI, MOV (quick time) and Flash Video, common codecs like FLV1, AC3, OGG, MP4, and H263 are also supported. It can also play mobile phone video and audio formats. It is designed to play video well, but does not exclude the ability to handle audio just as well as video. It also has the ability to play damaged AVI files and the smoothly animated interface makes file navigation easy. Features include a graphic equalizer for audio, video adjustments by brightness, hue, saturation and contrast, video screen capture, fullscreen support, minimize to system tray, show meta tag information, audio channel control by selecting either 2 channels (stereo), 4 channels (surround) or full 5.1 channel.
