Wolfenstein 3D is a computer game produced by id Software and published by Apogee 5 May 1992 year. The three-dimensional successor games Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, released by Muse Software respectively between 1983 and 1984, the Apple II platform. It is generally believed that launched the genre known as FPS. The game's story is very straightforward: the player takes the role of an American soldier of Polish descent - William Joseph Blazkowicz, who during a secret mission is captured and imprisoned in a Nazi stronghold. Paid version consisted of three parts, containing the ten levels: - Escape from Wolfenstein - Operation: Eisenfaust - Die, Fuhrer, Die There is only one episode and the single player mode. In the full version of the game there are four types of weapons, five types of common opponents and the so-called bosses, staying at the final level of each episode.
